Day 22: How I Want to be Remembered

This is actually my blog post of the day. My other one was just to show you guys that I meant to skip Day 21.

Okayy... So I always try to do things for other people whenever I can, so I'd love to be remembered for things I do. Like even if it's something simple, like "Oh Harshita. She made that one joke that day that I always remember." That would be pretty nice.  just want to be that person, who, years from now, everyone always remembers. Like, you know, that one person from a previous school or something who you tell stories to your friends about? The one person who could just walk through your door twenty years from the last time you spoke to them and you would still know exactly who it was? The one person who's name will instantly bring back memories? Well, I'd love that person to be me.

I have inside jokes with all my friends, about all sorts of things. My favorite ones are "breathe" and "chill." You guys know who you are, hopefully you're laughing your head off. To everyone else, sorry if those are just random words to you. The point is, I try to make my mark wherever I go. I tell stories about my friends from my old school (not bad ones, don't worry), or sometimes I make up the wildest, most ordinary stories. My friends know by now, that if a story sounds even slightly crazy, there's a good possibility I'm making it up, but they go along with it anyway.

In short, I just want to be remembered as the girl that followed her name and spread happiness to everyone, the girl that made people's bad days just a bit brighter, and the girl who was always there for them... Hopefully I will be.

See you tomorrow, and gracias!

Day 21: My Fitness Routines/Goals

This isn't really a blog post. I just wanted to say that I don't really care about fitness, so yeah. I'm going to write another proper post right now, so read that one!

Day 20: Things That Bring Me Joy

I decided to get three more blog posts over with this break, so here's the first one.

Okay... so a lot of things bring me joy:

1. Reading: Knowing me, reading is obviously the first thing I will say, so if you didn't expect that, I demand that you go read the rest of the posts right now. Reading is brilliant. It's completely magical. I mean, how many things can magically transport you somewhere away from reality? How many things are based almost solely on your imagination? Books are the greatest gifts to humanity, so a big shoutout to every author out there, famous and not-famous. Thank you all for bringing me so much joy!

2. Writing: Well, this one is really obvious. Writing helps me say things I wouldn't be able to say otherwise, so it brings me loads and loads of joy. Writing is my link to the world, as it is to so many other people out there. So this is for everyone who writes or wants to write: writing creates a new door to the world. A new door that gives you new perspectives and helps you think. So go for write. Write your heart out!

3. My friends: My friends are those people who always seem to bring me joy. Some of my friends listen to all my stories and laugh at my not very funny jokes. They bear my terrible pun with a laugh. Some of my friends make me laugh so much, so whatever I'm doing or thinking about doesn't affect the fact that I'm laughing my head of at some joke that isn't even that funny. Some of my friends just love having deep conversations about LIFE and those are always super fun too! Some of my friends listen to my long rants when I'm in a bad mood, about how anything and everything is annoying. Then, of course, there are those friends who do it all, and they're my best friends <3. I love you guys!

4. Appreciation: Okay, so I have a kind of "job" which basically involves me making a personalized birthday gift for my good friends, and a birthday card for almost everyone. Some people barely even acknowledge all the work I put into it, and I hate that. But some people, on the other hand, manage to show me exactly how much they like it. They smile brightly and keep thanking me over and over. Those are the best kinds of people, the kind that makes me feel like it's my birthday too. Those people bring me tons of joy and always make my day.

5. Good movies: Notice I put good movies. Some movies are just so totally lame that I'm in a terrible mood by the time they're done. Some movies, on the other hand, bring me so much joy that I don't stop smiling until hours later. Some of the really good movies are Hachiko, Cast Away, Deep Impact, Dr. Dolittle and Miss Congeniality. These movies are just some movies that are absolutely beautiful and I totally recommend you all to watch them. If you guys have any movie recommendation for me, put them down in the comments below and I'll check them out.

There are so many more things I could write about, but for fear of making this too long, I picked my top 5. Comment below what your top five are, and whether or not you agree with mine. I'll have another post up tomorrow, so see you then!

Day 19: About My Family

Heyy guys! Before I write anything else, a huge shoutout to all my friends who made yesterday one of the best days of my life. Thank you!!

Hmm. This post is just in time for National Sibling Day. If I'm not wrong, it was yesterday, so Happy National Sibling Day Sudh!!

My dad thinks up loads and loads of jokes about anything and everything we do and see, but sadly for him, they're not very good. Except when they are good. My dad is also amazing at giving massages and doing yoga, so he's always super calm. Again, except when he's not. I also got my flair for writing from him, as well as the idea to start a blog. So check out his blog: Harnessing your Potential. I'll put a link somewhere on the side.

My mom absolutely loves art supplies, so Michael's is like heaven to her. I honestly believe that if we left her there overnight with a U-Haul, she'd bring the whole shop home. She also loves a clean house, but unfortunately for her, in my dictionary, and my dad and bro's, 'clean' has a whole new definition.

My brother. I don't even know where to start. He annoys the hell out of me, but manages to be super awesome and nice at the same time. He won't do any work on his own, but he does do work when I tell him to, so it all works out. He seems really quiet to outsiders, but trust me when I say that if he's quiet, I won't believe it's actually him.

These three people are the three people I love the most. Thank you so much for supporting me in everything I do... You guys are the best!!!

Day 18: My favorite Places in The World

I can't believe it's Saturday again... this last week went by so quickly that I can barely remember what... oh right. Testing.

I decided to write a little differently today, though it was kind of an accident. The first few that I wrote just happened to rhyme, so I turned it into a poem. Hope you like it!

"It's not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves."
From the top of the mountain I stare,

Feeling free and without a care.
"Some people walk in the rain, others just get wet."
When it's raining, any place,
Becomes super fun to watch a Raindrop Race.
Friends are born, not made.
"Friends are born, not made."
A friend's house is always fun,
As we talk about everything under the Sun.
"Summer means...going to the beach. Having fun."
Beaches are absolutely amazing,
With ample place to play and sing.
"We wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment."
As I travel, I always learn
About different people and things in turn.

"There's no place like home."
At home I can curl up with a book,
In some small corner or nook.
Or I can watch TV
With whatever I really want to see.
At home the WiFi connects without a try
So I can surf the net day and night.
So wherever I go, whatever I do or see,
Home is always my most favorite place to be.

Comment below and tell me if you liked the change. All feedback is welcome. Thanks, and have a great week!
