Day 29: What I Live For

Hi again! Since I'm also planning to work on my story (or stories) today, I'm going to get straight to the blog.

1. Harry Potter: This is my entire life. The number of times I've read or watched HP is infinity and still counting.I could literally start watching any movie at any point and not have any trouble knowing exactly what's going on. Same goes for books. I just love Harry Potter!!

2. Books: I really love books. I'm literally reading almost all the time. I read paper books, books on my kindle and stories on Wattpad on my phone. I read a LOT, and reading is the best!!

3. Helping people: If you know me, you have to expect this. I literally live to help people. The joy that I see on people's faces when good things happen to them, or things get sorted out is just amazing. When people smile of a long streak of complaining or being super annoyed is just the greatest feeling ever.

Well, I'm going to go work on my story, appreciate it if you guys read that too (after I write it, lol). Thanks!

Day 28: Goals For my Blog

Hey again, I'm posting this early because today was a holiday :) I have a couple of announcements before the actual blog. First, most of you already know this, but I'm writing a story called "Gifted" on Wattpad. The link is also on the right if you're on a laptop or computer. Secondly, I'm also writing a collection of short stories called "H. O. P. E. ," which is also on Wattpad. It would be great if you guys could check it out and give me feedback. Also, if anyone has recommendations or requests for a story, feel free to comment them. :) Lastly, the blogging challenge is coming too an end, so if you guys have any suggestions for things I could write about, or want to recommend another challenge, go ahead.

My main goal for my blog is writing every Saturday. I really want to write a blog every week. I'm hoping I will be able to keep that up, throughout high school. People always say that I'll have too much work and lots of things to do in high school, so I want to keep up the weekly blogs.

I also want, obviously, more people to read my blog. So if you like my blog, share it with friends and family, add the link to your social networking, or just tell people about it. I really appreciate it!

I'm not the type of person to care about likes and things like that, so like my blog if you like it...

I really love comments though. So even if it is the simplest comment, an "I agree" or "That's not what I think," I'd really appreciate it. But if you are in the mood for a long discussion, I'd love it. Start an argument in the comments or just leave something to debate. I promise you, it will be fun!

Hmmm...

Hmmm...

Hmmm...

I think that's all... thnxx everyone and see you next week!

Day 27: Questions I Have About Life

I can't believe how fast time has flown. Like, I clearly remember the day I started this challenge, and I'm almost done already. I clearly remember New Year's Eve, and it's May already. I can clearly remember my first day school, and school gets over in a month.

That's my first question. Why does time seem to change so much? It goes slow when you are bored or doing something you don't want to, and really fast when you're having fun, or procrastinating xD. It's just so weird. I mean, I waited from the beginning of the year to go to Yosemite, and before I knew it, I was on the bus home. I find that the most peculiar thing about life.

Another thing is how something always happens when everything is perfect, or seems perfect. "Expect the unexpected" and "Change is the only constant" are things I constantly hear when random things happen. Sometimes things will seem like everything is wrong, and then the next time you think about it, everything is 'perfect' and you wonder why you ever thought that things would stay bad forever.

"Everything happens for a reason." That's my motto. I never get mad (or sad) about things that are out of my control. For example, my Yosemite hiking group didn't have anyone who I knew very well, but over the week, I became really good friends with everyone in my hiking group. Most of all, one of those people is a really close friend of mine now. So, like I said, everything happens for a reason.

That's all for this post, sorry it's short, but I can't think right now. I might redo it some other day. Thank you all for your support and see you next week!

Day 26: My Creative Projects

Hey, I'm back. I almost skipped writing this today, but since I delayed last week's blog until yesterday, I decided to just finish off today's blog.

Day 24 is "My college experience so far," and since I'm not even close to being in college, I'm skipping that one, and I'll probably do it some other time.

Day 25 is "My favorite blogs," and sadly, I don't read too many people's blogs. I will start reading people's blogs soon though, so feel free to recommend your favorite blogs to me in the comments down below.

Most of my "Creative Projects" are birthday gifts, mainly because I can only do something remotely nice if I have a deadline, so birthdays are a perfect opportunity to showcase my 'talent' and have fun. I love making the most personalized birthday gifts ever, and people's reactions when they receive my gift are the best things ever. Their happiness always makes my day.

1. Photo Videos: This is the easiest gift to give someone when you have a bunch of photos of them and an app that lets you put photos together to form a video. All you do is select the photos you need and it's ready!

2. Collages: This is the second option when you have many photos, but it is pretty popular. Creating a collage is the last resort, when you are completely out of ideas.

3. Birthday cards: I have two cool ideas for a personalized birthday card that brought great reactions and were loads of fun. They did involve a lot of work though.

  • Collage: Find pictures of the person and create a collage to stick inside. A simple cover is enough, because when the card is opened, it will make up for anything dull on the cover.
  • Quotes: This involves LOTS of work. You basically ask people (friends) for things that the person says a lot, or jokes the person repeatedly makes. They can be anything that a lot of people know about the person. Put it all into the card (I recommend typing it up and printing it out, thnxx ma), and you're good to go!
  • The suit: This is specially if you have a friend that loves suits. I found a way to fold paper to resemble a suit, with white paper that makes the shirt. I'll put up a tutorial as soon as I can. I found this really fun to make and I'm pretty sure my friend loved it.
**I usually get birthday cards signed from all the person's friends, just to make it more           personalized.

I have another idea for a birthday gift, but I haven't used it yet, and my friend for who it's for reads this blog. So I'll probably create more parts to this post whenever I get enough new ideas. Please give me ideas if you have any, however simple. Until next week, be happy! :)

Day 23: My Bad Habits

Hey, sorry I didn't post one last Friday like I said I would, I was really, really busy. I actually started this post last Saturday but I had too much work to finish. I tried writing it all week, but I've had so much homework that I've been staying up later too, so I really couldn't manage to find time to write this until now. This challenge is almost done!!!

I have a bunch of bad habits... I think. I feel like my mom is more entitled to write this post. I'll try my best.

1. Getting Ready: I take ages and ages to get ready, so much that however early I get up in the morning, I will always have something to do till the last minute. And this is not even only in the morning. Anytime I need to get ready, I will be the one person who's making everyone wait because I still need to find my jacket or purse. Is this just me? Tell me it's not just me.

2. Listening to music all the time: According to my mom, I listen to music too much, but I think it's just something that I need to focus on my work. I always do things better with music, and it's just a part of me.

3. Fiddling: I always need to do something with my hands. Mostly, since I usually have my phone in my hands, it's pulling off my phone case and putting it back on. Sometimes, it's twisting a pen or pencil in my hand. I also tend to throw whatever I'm holding in the air and catch it, and it doesn't matter what it is. So I could be holding someone else's phone, but I would still throw it in the air (freak the person out) and catch it.

4. Spacing out: I sometimes just stare into space, thinking. I'm rarely lucky enough to be staring up or down. Most of the time, it's right at someone sitting around me, who begins to feel really uncomfortable and eventually moves to get my attention, which snaps a clueless me back to reality.

I really can't think of anymore right now. I might do a part 2, if I find more. Thank you all for being so patient as I missed the last post. See you tomorrow!
