Heyy guys I'm back! And summer has started so I'll be updating a lot more now.
So... ROAD TRIP HACKS:
1. Pillows: As hard as we try, sleeping in a car is uncomfortable. Between the seat belt and the door, there's always going to be something poking into your neck or arm. So bring a pillow. You can either use it for your head, or cover the seat belt as you sleep (or just rest in general).
2. Seat belt: Put the seat belt under your arm. It is uncomfortable at first but it prevents you from getting cut in the neck.
3. Shoes: Don't wear them. Socks stink up the car really quick and get dirty with all the crumbs that will eventually accumulate. And putting on shoes is a pain every time you get out of the car to stretch. Bring sandals or flip-flops just for the ride.
4. Breaks: Take one every hour and a half to two hours. Stock up the food and use the bathroom, even if you feel like you don't have to go, that way you won't have to search for somewhere in a hurry. Going along with that, McDonalds are officially the best place to stop to go to the bathroom.
5. Car sickness: Always have a plastic/paper bag in the car just in case, even if no one gets carsick. Anything citrus usually work to stop sickness, eat the fruit, chew on the peel, or just smell it. Oranges and lemons are the best.
Hope these are useful!
Until next time, here's a quote:
"If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one." -Mother Teresa
