Heyy.... I'm back again, and I'm really surprised that I'm on the tenth day already. I honestly didn't think I would get this far. I'm really hoping I manage to finish it.
So... I'm passionate about a lot of things. I would love to fight for education, as well as all types of equality. There are a lot more things I'm passionate about, but these are the two main issues that I believe need someone to help push for change.
The most important thing you could ever be given by anybody is education. That is one of my beliefs, and I also believe that in turn, you must do something to repay the gift by giving someone else the same gift. That doesn't mean you need to sponsor someone's education. Raising awareness counts too. Maybe one day you decide to put up posters that talk about literacy rates. Someone who could help just might come along and see them, maybe sponsor a few kids, or build a new school. Even if that doesn't happen, everyone who does see it will know about it and will probably spread the word. Education is what makes the world harmonious.
Equality is the next big thing on my list. I have honestly never understood why people are treated differently based on something they cannot control. The number of times I've heard something like, "Oh she's blond, so she must be stupid," is really annoying. Who really cares what color your hair or skin is? Who really cares whether you are a girl or a guy? What people really should use to decide how to treat people is by seeing how they behave. How they treat other people. That is the deciding factor. All it takes is one person to stand up for everyone to slowly turn towards doing the right thing. Most people are just scared to be different. Once they see that they have a leader, everyone will definitely stand up for what they actually think.
I try to do what I can about both of these. I help my friends when they don't understand something in school. I try to tell people who say things about people based on characteristics they can't change, and I try very hard to stand up for what I think is right.
Well that's all for today, have a great week!
