Day 14: What Stresses Me Out

Hey again, early post because I have lots of weekend work...

This post is kind of coincidental, I was just telling my friend to chill out, forget whatever he was stressed out about and enjoy Friday night like everybody else.

The main thing that stresses me out is when I have school work to do and it's after 9:15 in the night. I automatically shut down after around 9:30, so if I have work that will take me longer than that, I get completely stressed out. Then I either do a really bad job or do it in a hurry in the morning.

I think that might be the ONLY thing that stresses me out.

While I'm on the topic of school, I really feel the need to say that exams and tests absolutely 100% DO NOT stress me out. I learn everything I need to know in class, so I don't actually need any extra studying to perform well. Anything I actually focus on in class sticks with me.

Once again, I Googled for a list of reasons people get stressed, because there's not much that actually stresses me out. Here it goes:
1. Fear: My entire last post was dedicated to the fact that I'm almost fearless. So no chance there...
2. Lack of sleep: I honestly get at least 8 hours of sleep every single day. So, even if I don't sleep for an entire night, I would still have enough sleep accumulated to keep me awake and de-stressed.

Okay. That list was shorter than I expected it to be, because most of the reasons I found were either not for kids, like work, or too complicated to talk about.

I'm just going to go with giving you guys advice on how to deal with stress.

1. Sit down and read a book. Books always transport you somewhere where you don't need to think about yourself, and that calms me down really quickly.
2. Take a walk. Fresh air always help, and a change of scene from whatever probably stressed you out in the first place is probably a good idea.
3. Do something artistic. Everyone has art in them, whether it be drawing, painting, photography, or anything else. Focusing on doing something that is not work will help cool off.
4. Talk to someone. I personally find this the most useful and helpful way of cooling off. Talking to someone gives you another perspective to your "huge problems" and it just might make you realize that you're not alone, and that your "problems" are actually you over thinking something small.

If you have a tip that you think is helpful, comment below.

That's it for today... See ya next week.
